ACTING
Engage in exercises for character development, line memorization, atmosphere connections (elements/emotions), tempo-rhythm, imagination, concentration, playing off fellow actors, blocking-impromptu and pre-set, & preparation for presentation at the end of workshop.
VOICE PERFORMANCE
The Winkie Ballas technique combines technical & performance techniques taught for generations in colleges & conservatories in the states & abroad and techniques developed throughout Ballas's extensive performance career. “A technically sound voice blended with heartful interpretation = ENTERTAINMENT!” Focus on voice placement, breathing, range, control, pitch, belt, and performance.
Dance & Stage Movement
DANCE
Learn dance for musical choreography- body center/balance, foot positions, arm positions, turns, leaps (great prep for auditions).
MOVEMENT for STAGE
Gracefulness is a must onstage. Learn exercises for walking, running, moving from one point to the next will be given. Interpreting movement is an extension of delivering lines and songs.
KTT Productions
PREPARATION for AUDITIONS and ARTISTIC EVENTS
Preparation is the key to success. When a performer auditions, they must know they gave the best audition possible; let it go and move on to the next audition. Key instructions will be given on first impression, grooming, choosing an audition song/monologue, and writing a resume.
KTT SHOWS
KTT is gearing up to perform Musicals, Showcases, Reviews, and Educational Musicals and One-Act Plays. Auditions will be open to actors/singers/dancers of all ages according the cast needs of the show.
